Life istene was Pawan kumar's directorial debut in kannada film industry. The movie made a decent earning of about 6-7 crore. It got good reviews from critics. Its a must watch for the youth.

We all have been through an age where we were friends with the opposite sex, we would play together and have fun and it would not mean anything else. As we grow up the equations begins to change. The natural instincts take over and the same friendship starts developing new meanings. But within the social structure of life, these new feelings are referred with a more acceptable terminology called LOVE! It’s natural for a young boy to get attracted to a young girl, but he can’t simply be attracted, to be human he has to be in love. So his mind convinces him that he is in love. But is he, really?

This whole experience of falling in and out of love forms the theme of the movie. All of it shown with extremely hilarious scenes that not only entertain but also allows one to think of all the cute and stupid things one has done in their early 20’s. All in all it’s a feel good movie filled with incidents involving love, breakups, rejections and marriage.
