Lucia - The success

Lucia  has collected 56 lakhs in he opening weekend which is one of the best box-office collections for an independent film recently. Ship of Theseus previously had collected 25.89 lakh in the opening weekend.

Lucia was made on a budget of 75 lakhs approximately out of which 51 Lakhs were raised through crowd-funding on social media in 2012. The film has been released in theaters through PVR Director’s Rare.

The film  is running on 60 screens in Karnataka. It has been released on 13 screens outside the state.

Kannada language television channel Udaya TV bought the satellite rights of the film for 95 Lakhs.

So far it is finding a great success..

Lucia has had a wonderful  release. It has been running full house in all theaters all cross the country.

Over sees fans still waiting for the online release....
